The periodic meeting of the Board of Directors of the Joint Services Council
On Tuesday, June 29, 2022, the Joint Services Council for Solid Waste Management in the governorates of Khan Yunis, Rafah, and Middle Area conducted its periodic meeting headed by Dr. Eng. Alaa El-Din El-Batta, Mayor of Khan Yunis - Chairman of the Joint Services Council, with the participation of the members of the Board of Directors, and the consultant to the Chairman of the Board of Directors Eng. Yahya Al-Astal, with the participation of Eng. Muhammad Syam, representing the Ministry of Local Government (MoLG), where the meeting agenda was reviewed and discussed with the participants.
During the session, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Alaa El-Din El-Battah, and the participants congratulated: Eng. Khaled Ayyash for assigning him the duties of Mayor of Al-Fukhari, and Eng. Tariq Al-Habbash, the new executive director of the JSC-KRM, and wished them success.
Also, he praised the efforts made by the former director of the JSC-KRM, Dr. Ali Barhoum, the achievements made during his tenure, and the close relationship that he greatly contributed to strengthening with international donors and local authorities.
In conclusion, Dr. Alaa El-Din El-Battah expressed his sincere appreciation for the efforts made to raise the levels of service provided in the Council and his confidence in the constructive cooperation between the members of the Board of Directors for the sake of a healthy environment.
