Bani Suhaila
About the Municipality
When Bani Suhaila became a city in 1996, the administration of its citizens' affairs was governed by four village councils, the first of which was in 1967 and in 1977 the second village council and then the third municipal council in 1998 and the fourth in 2005. In 2005, the first municipal council was elected through local elections and the majority of the seats were won by the Bloc of Change and Reform, which is now leading the development work of the city.

About the City
The town of Bani Suhaila is located to the southeast of the Gaza Strip, east of Khan Younis. It is located 5.2 km to the west of Khan Younis. It is surrounded by the large Abasan area and the new Abasan area to the east and the municipality of Al-Qarara from the north and south. The large city of Abasan, the new Abasan and the surrounding municipalities have been given Salah al-Din Street the importance of the city where all the provinces of the Gaza Strip come together.
