About the Municipality
Al-Nasr Municipality was initially established as a committee for projects in 1997 on the basis of family representation. It was formed from seven members representing the largest families in the town. In mid 1999 the village of Al-Nasr was approved by the Ministry of Local Government. Category "C" on 1 January 2004. In May 2005, the first local elections were held to elect the 11-member municipal council. In the month of 1/2010, the current municipal council, which consists of the mayor, was appointed as well as five members who manage the municipality.

About the City
Al-Nasr is located in Rafah governorate and is administratively under the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) divisions. The area was formerly known as the Bioc, compared to the name of the only water well in the area in the past (Bir al-Biok). The name of the victory area was adopted in 2001. It is located in the northeastern part of Rafah governorate. Which separates it from the governorate of Khan Younis and from the east Salah al-Din Street and from the west and south limits the influence of the municipality of Rafah.
