Participation in the implementation of an environmental initiative entitled "With our hands we can make beautiful city"

Through the Environmental Guidance and Awareness Unit, the JSC-KRM contributed to the implementation of the awareness activities of the initiative of the Bayader Society for Environment and Development in cooperation with the Municipality of Bani Suhaila in March 2019. The initiative aims to contribute to improving the behavior of the residents of Bani Suhaila for the proper disposal of solid waste And the environment. The activities of the initiative were concentrated in Abu Sorour and Al-Awda neighborhoods. The Guidance and Awareness Team worked on disseminating environmental messages on how to reduce household solid waste through the implementation of 1000 home visits to residents of these areas and shop owners Of them. It is worth mentioning that this initiative is one of the environmental initiatives within the project of the Environmental Protection Initiative in the Gaza Strip - the second phase implemented by Islamic Relief - Palestine funded by Islamic Relief - South Africa, where the project seeks to modify and change the behaviors and practices of individuals towards positive behavior the society.
