With funding from Islamic Relief, the Council distributed cleaning tools and equipment to the central and southern municipalities of the Gaza Strip

The Joint Services Council for Solid Waste Management in Khan Yunis, Rafah and Middle Area Governorates has distributed cleaning tools and equipment to all 17 member municipalities of the Council, in addition to distributing protective tools and clothes to the workers of the Council and municipal workers as part of the emergency response project to support solid waste management services in The Gaza Strip - Phase II, funded by Islamic Relief - Palestine, which aims to support and develop municipal solid waste management services through the Joint Service Councils for Solid Waste Management in the Gaza Strip.

In this context,  the Executive Director of the Council Dr. Ali Barhoum, thanked the Islamic Relief Foundation for its active role in the Palestinian society, and its keenness to implement environmental programs that benefit the public and the surrounding environment.
