Hold an extensive meeting with the workers and staff of the Council

The Joint Services Council for Solid Waste Management in the Governorates of Khan Yunis, Rafah and Middle Area organized an extensive meeting with the Council's workers headed by Eng. Aladdin Al Batah, Chairman of the Board and Mayor of Khan Younis Municipality; and Dr. Ali Barhoum, Executive Director of the Council, in order to maintain constant communication between the management of the Council and its staff and to learn about their needs and constraints facing them while working in the field.

Eng. Aladdin Al Batah welcomed and praised the workers for their hard working, and he talked about the paradigm shift in the work of the Council during the recent period, especially after the opening of the new landfill and the operation of modern collection vehicle in the streets of cities and towns of the central and southern Gaza Strip.

Then Dr. Ali Barhoum confirmed that the management of the Council follows up on a daily basis all the field work carried out by the workers in order to provide better service to the population, and that it is working continuously to put a development plans aimed at the operation of the Council's vehicle through updating the collection routes, and the operation of the new landfill according to technical and administrative standards that would Reduce costs and optimize the use of human and financial resources.

During the meeting, the administrators of council  listened to the observations and inquiries of workers that would contribute to the development plans during the coming period in order to ensure better service access to all beneficiaries, taking into consideration the follow of all safety and security procedures for workers in the Council to improve their work and Keep them safe.
