Holding a first board meeting for the new Board of Directors to discuss ways to develop the provided services

The members of the Board of Directors of the Joint Services Council for Solid Waste Management in Khan Younis, Rafah and Middle Area held its first meeting in its new session 2019-2023, to discuss issues related to the services provided to the municipalities in a way that reflects positively on the citizens and helps maintain environmental and health standards.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Eng. Aladdin Al Batah mentioned the importance of the meeting in establishing the rules of systematic work according to the integrated system of performance between the Council and the 17 member municipalities located in the governorates of Khan Younis, Rafah and Middle Area.

During the meeting, some of the Council's financial files were reviewed and details were discussed with the need to emphasize the independence of the Council in all its transactions that serve the interests of member municipalities and ensure the continuity of solid waste collection and disposal services.

It is worth mentioning that the new board of directors includes the mayor of Khan Younis municipality Eng. Aladdin Al Batah (Chairman of the Council), Mayor of Rafah municipality Subhi Radwan (Vice-President), and Members of: Mayor of Deir El-Balah municipality Said Nassar, Mayor of Bani Suhaila municipality Hamad Alraqab, Mayor of Nuseirat municipality Mohammed Abuishkyan, Mayor of Abasan Al kabira municipality Mahmoud Abu Draz, and the mayor of Al Fukhary municipality Salman Al-Imour.
