The Association of Engineers - Gaza Branch visits Al-Fukhari Sanitary landfill

The Joint Services Council for Solid Waste Management in the Governorates of Khan Younis, Rafah and Middle Area welcomed a delegation from the Association of Engineers of the Gaza branch, In order to identify the mechanism of establishing and operating Al-Fukhari Sanitary landfill.

This visit is part of a program organized by the Engineers Association to increase engineers' knowledge of the existing environmental infrastructure in the Gaza Strip and how to manage it according to sound environmental principles and standards.

Visitors were greeted and welcomed by Eng.Tamer Abou El Zomor Head of Landfill Section, Eng. Mohammed Seyam, head of the Khan Younis section of the council, and Eng. Samir Matar Environmental Specialist in the MDLF, who provided a detailed presentation of the daily work mechanisms and landfill plans.
