Community meeting with Al - Fukhari Youth Center

On Monday, 25 November, a community meeting was held with Al-Fukhari Youth Center of Al-Fukhari Municipality, which consists of a number of active youth in the town of Al-Fukhari.

The meeting aims to increase communication between the Joint Services Council for Solid Waste Management in Khan Yunis, Rafah and Middle Area Governorates with the community surrounding the new Al-Fukhari landfill Site.

The visitors were briefed and explained the mechanisms of work in the landfill as well as the mitigation measures taken in the landfill in order to reduce the expected environmental impacts during the operation. In addition to informing them about the mechanisms of complaints in the Council and how to communicate with the electronic complaints page on the Council's website easily.
