ICRC visit JSC-KRM Head office to discuss the cash for work for solid wastes management in Deir El Balah

25th September, 2024 -- The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited the JSC-KRM Head Office, in order to discuss the implemented project activities and their impact on raising the level of cleanliness in Deir El Balah city, as the project collects more than 350 tons of waste daily.

The International Committee of the Red Cross held focus group discussions with the project team and beneficiaries to discuss the project objectives and review challenges, suggestions and recommendations in order to follow up on the project activities.

At the end of the visit, Eng. Tareq Elhabbash - Executive Director of the JSC-KRM, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the International Committee of the Red Cross for their support and efforts in supporting the solid waste management sector through this project, and contributed effectively to support the city of Deir al-Balah and raising its level of cleanliness.
