Visit of the World Bank Groups delegation to the new Al-Fukhari (Sofa) Landfill
Dr. Ali Barhoum, Executive Director of JSC-KRM and Eng. Noureddine El Madhoun, Director of the Project Development and Safeguards Unit in MDLF , Welcomed a delegation from the World Bank Groups Headed by Ms. Anne Birdy, Acting Director of the World Bank in the Palestinian Territories, on Monday, 25 February 2019. The visit was aimed at reviewing the latest developments in the project of establishing the Al-Fukhari Landfill, which is considered one of the important strategic projects in the Gaza Strip. Solid waste for the population of the Khan Younis and Rafah, Middle Area governorates equivalent to 46% of the population of the Gaza Strip.
